Cobra Dukes and Diamond Cut have begot Visitor, a melodic megafest of dreamwave goodness (currently unsigned). Granted, they’ve only put out a handful of material so far. Readers of UUnD already know of my affection for Diamond Cut, and we’ve shown some love for the Cobra Dukes slow-burner Leave the Light On. Comparisons to The Killers and Pet Shop Boys (and even U2?) abound, so if you enjoy a more mainstream, UK indie au currant sound to dance to, this might be a good new choice for a playlist.

I had this song on repeat for hours while I was studying for the Bar last week. I never got tired of it. When I listen to this song I envision the kids singing at the top of their lungs, glitter mixed with sweat, at 2am asking “have you had enough?”
Visitor has been pretty active recently. They just completed a playlist for Valerie recently, and it includes a new Visitor track. Head on over to their site for some summer playlist tuneage, Visitor-style. Additionally, they’ve just wrapped a remix submission contest for the song Los Feeling, so I am sure we will be hearing some ethereal, synthtastic versions coming down the pipe soon.
