From the casino rooftops of Vegas to the New Year’s crowds of the Australian Festivals The Loose Cannons have come a long, long way from their humble beginnings in a bedsit in South London, to being amongst the UK’s most critically, media and industry acclaimed Artists, DJ/Producers and Radio Broadcasters.

The Don-Daddas of DJ Duo-dom, Kaiser Saucy & Lord Fader have rocked the party across the world, from the E4 Skins house-party in London, to the Australian Music Awards in Sydney, aboard Armani’s yacht in Monte Carlo, to student parties in NYC, narrowly avoiding arrest in Dubai, via an uber-art exhibition in Singapore, Manumission in Ibiza, and Exit in Serbia…. And even Keith-Prodigy’s wedding…. As well as hitting all the main UK festivals, including Glastonbury, V, Lovebox and Glade. In the UK, their show on world-famous dance music radio station Kiss (www.totalkiss.com/loosecannons) won a Specialist Award at the prestigious Sony Radio Awards in it’s 1st year on air and has subsequently tripled it’s audience share. They are now tastemakers the industry and public look to for the newest in all things-house music. Zachary Wright is an artist originally from Portland, Oregon. In 2002 he signed with Merck Records (based out of Miami, Florida). His debut 12” release was “Lost Subject”, his first full-length album, also titled “Lost Subject”, was released on Merck in May 2004. “Greater Cascadia” was released in 2007 on the “Deceptikon Industries” label. Wright moved to Tokyo in 2005 or 2006.
Currently, he is signed to Daily City Records and has just released ‘Mythology Of The Metropolis’

Dmitry Fyodorov (Stockholm, Sweden)

Once a successful attack player in HC CSKA Moscow that mysteriously disappeared after an accident on the ice. Now, nearly 30 years later, his soul has returned in the form of dark, distorted house music to bring havoc to dance floors across the globe.

Side note:

In addition to their musical talents, HF discovered that the duo are natural rock climbers and amazing DSP coders! With Einar’s first attempt at the sport, he scaled a 5.10b in the BLINK of an eye!
Also, discovered they design Audio Units for their production and live shows. All in all raising the bar while showing the utmost modesty. Dmitry Fyodorov is the real deal of creativity, black rim glasses, and electronic production.

Omar Souleyman (Syrian Arab Republic ):

Omar Souleyman is a Syrian musical legend -  Since 1994, he and his musicians have emerged as a staple of folk-pop throughout Syria, but until now they have remained little known outside of the country. To date, they have issued more than five-hundred studio and live- recorded cassette albums which are easily spotted in the shops of any Syrian city.

Born in rural Northeastern Syria, he began his musical career in 1994 with a small group of local collaborators that remain with him today. The myriad musical traditions of the region are evident in their music. Here, classical Arabic mawwal-style vocalization gives way to high-octane Syrian Dabke (the regional folkloric dance and party music), Iraqi Choubi and a host of Arabic, Kurdish and Turkish styles, among others. This amalgamation is truly the sound of Syria. The music often has an overdriven sound consisting of phase-shifted Arabic keyboard solos and frantic rhythms. At breakneck speeds, these shrill Syrian electronics play out like forbidden morse-code, but the moods swing from coarse and urgent to dirgy and contemplative in the rugged anthems that comprise Souleyman’s repertoire. Oud, reeds, baglama saz, accompanying vocals and percussion fill out the sound from track to track. Mahmoud Harbi is a long-time collaborator and the man responsible for much of the poetry sung by Souleyman. Together, they commonly perform the Ataaba, a traditional form of folk poetry used in Dabke. On stage, Harbi chain smokes cigarettes while standing shoulder to shoulder with Souleyman, periodically leaning over to whisper the material into his ear. Acting as a conduit, Souleyman struts into the audience with urgency, vocalizing the prose in song before returning for the next verse. Souleyman’s first hit in Syria was “Jani” (1996) which gained cassette-kiosk infamy and brought him recognition throughout the country. Over the years, his popularity has risen steadily and the group tirelessly performs concerts throughout Syria and has accepted invitations to perform abroad in Saudi Arabia, Dubai and Lebanon. Omar Souleyman is a man of hospitality and striking integrity who describes his style as his own and prides himself on not being an imitator or a sellout.
